Laconia Boys Hold Off St. Mary’s Springs
The Laconia Spartan boys
basketball team jumped out on St. Mary’s Springs 12-2 in the first quarter and
then staved off every Ledger run in a 69-60 Flyway Conference win on Monday night.
Brett Whittchow scored 27 and Drew Gunnink added 19 for
Flway Conference with the win. Cory Nies
had 27 and Collin Ottery 10 for St. Mary’s Springs.
(18-3, 11-2) wraps up their regular season on Thursday night when they host
Mayville. St. Mary’s Springs (15-6,
10-3) will host Flyway champ Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Thursday night at the
Hutter Gym.
