Ledger Boys Win D3 State Golf Title!

The St. Mary’s Springs boys golf team won
the WIAA Division Three State Golf Championship on Tuesday afternoon at
University Ridge Golf Course in the Madison
area.  The Ledgers’ two day total of 667
was 16 shots better than 2^nd place Green Dale Martin Luther.  The Ledgers Brady Sarauer and Colin Ahern
tied for 5^th with a two day total of 162 (+18).  Patrick Treichel tied for 12^th
with a 168 (+24).  Owen Ahern’s 175 (+31)
and Dawson Sarauer’s 178 (+34) rounded out the Ledger scoring.   In Division Two, WLA’s Chris Colla finished
4^th at 146 (+4) after a 2^nd round 70 (-2).  Campbellsport’s Jack Adams tied for 18^th
with a two day total of 162 (+18).  The golf championship is the 2nd in school history. They took home a WISAA title back in 1959.
