Ledger Boys Win Regional Title

The St. Mary’s Springs Academy boys basketball won their
Division Four Regional championship with a 59-44 win at #1 seed Oshkosh Lourdes
on Saturday night.  The 2nd seeded
Ledgers controlled the game from the start, leading 10-4 after 1 quarter and
22-16 at the half.  Lourdes never got closer than four points in
the 2nd half as the Ledgers answered every Knight punch.  Cory Nies and Brennen Ottery each had 15 and
Collin Ottery 10 in the win. Brady Schneider led Lourdes (22-3) with 14 points.  St. Mary’s Springs (18-6) will travel to
Sheboygan North for a Sectional Semifinal against Howard Grove.  That game is scheduled for 7pm on Thursday
but that game might get moved to either Wednesday or Friday because it is
currently at the same time as the St. Mary’s Springs girls Division 4 State
Semifinal.
