Ledgers Keep Title Hopes Alive

St. Mary’s Springs kept their Flyway Conference title hopes alive with a 62-50 win at Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday night in Jackson.  KML dominated early and led by five at halftime before the Ledgers full court press got them back in the game and pushed them to a double-digit victory.  Cory Nies led the Ledgers with 17.  Eric Feldner added 14.  The win improves SMSA to 11-1 in Flyway action and 18-2 overall.  They will host league leader and unbeaten Laconia on Thursday night at the Hutter Gymnasium.  Back on January 11th, Laconia stopped the Ledgers 62-42 in Rosendale.
