Ledgers Roll In Opener

Senior Ike Floyd ran for 183 yards and 4 touchdowns as St. Mary’s Springs blew by Sheboygan Falls 37-0 on Saturday night in their season opener at Fruth Field in Fond du Lac.  Floyd ran for touchdowns of 32, 5, and 73 yards in the first quarter as the Ledgers built a 20-0 lead after one quarter.  That score held firm to the halftime locker room.  At the 10:31 mark of the 3rd quarter, Floyd ripped off a 56 yard TD run to make it 27-0.  Zach McLaughlin scored from 23 yards out and Nate Hintze added a 34 yard field goal to round out the scoring. The Ledgers will host Wautoma on Friday night at Fruth Field.  You’ll hear that game on K107.1-FM.  The kickoff is set for 7pm.
