N-H-M Dominates Fondy Hockey 9-2

The Neenah-Hortonville-Menasha hockey team dominated Fond du Lac 9-2 in the 3rd place game at the
Badgerland Conference Hockey Tournament at the Blue Line Family Ice Center on Saturday afternoon.  Neenah
led 2-0 just 3:47 into the first period. 
They stretched that lead to 4-0 after one period and 6-0 heading into
the 2nd intermission.  The
lead ballooned to 8-0 in the 3rd before Caylen Dyni scored on
assists from Jack Nejedlo and Thomas O’Leary. 
Nejedlo scored with helpers from Dyni and O’Leary to make it 8-2.   NHM added one more goal for the final 9-2
score.  NHM’s Mitch Gerhartz had four
goals and an assist for 5 points on the afternoon.  Fond du Lac
(10-13) wraps up their regular season on Tuesday night at Homestead
NHM (18-4-1) close out their regular season on Tuesday night when they
host Sheboygan.
