NFL Draft – Packers Stick to Defense on Day 3, Three More UW Players Taken

With four picks on the final day of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Packers continued to focus on the defensive side of the ball, adding to the defense with three of the four picks, and adding a running back with the other pick.

Round 5 – Pick 12 (150 Overall) – Kingsley Keke, Defensive End, Texas A&M

Round 6 – Pick 12 (185 Overall) – Ka’Dar Hollman – Defensive Back – Toledo

Round 6 – Pick 22 (194 Overall) – Dexter Williams – Running Back – Notre Dame

Round 7 – Pick 12 (226 Overall) – Ty Summers – Linebacker – TCU

Three more Badgers were taken on day three of the draft – all going in the fifth round. Linebackers Ryan Connelly (NY Giants) and Andrew Van Ginkel (Miami) and tackle David Edwards (LA Rams) were selected Saturday. The three join Michael Dieter who was taken in the third round by Miami as former Wisconsin players selected in the draft.
