Oshkosh North Rallies By Fondy Boys in OT

The Fond du Lac boys
basketball team lost a heartbreaker at Oshkosh North 68-65 in overtime on
Thursday night.  The Cardinals led by 13
in the 1st half. North chipped away and finally caught the Cardinals
at 56-56 with 2:07 left and built a 61-56 lead with 1:05 left in
regulation.  The Cardinals battled back,
as Drew Jorgensen buried a three pointer and Sam Fredrickson tied it with a
short jumper in the lane late.   Fondy
scored the 1st four points of the OT, before North scored the final eight to
pick up the win.  Fredrickson led Fondy
with a career high 37 points.  Shane
Wissink led North (3-2, 1-1) with 19. 
Fondy (1-3, 0-2) will travel to Appleton North on Friday, December 18th.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.
