Schrauth Ties Career Scoring Mark In Ledger Win

The St. Mary’s Springs
(5-0, 2-0) girls basketball team jumped out to a 17-4 lead over WLA (1-2, 1-1) after
one quarter and cruised to a 60-39 Flyway Conference win on Thursday night at
the Hutter Gym.  Ledger junior Kelli
Schrauth led all scorers with 27 points. 
She is now tied with Jenny Kopecki as the school’s all-time leading
scorer with 855 career points.  Elenore
Mueller added 10 for the Ledgers.  Megan
Schwartz led WLA with 9 points. WLA hosts Mayville on Monday while St. Mary’s
Springs will host two-time defending champions Kettle Moraine Lutheran on
Tuesday night.
