Girls Basketball on KFIZ tonight, the Division 1 regional semifinals as Fond du Lac travels to Mequon Homestead. Coverage begins around 6:50, tipoff time is 7pm.

Division 1:


195 Pounds: FDL’s Colton Wasieleski loses to Waterford’s Jack Trautmann III by a 9-2 decision in the first round


285 Pounds: FDL’s Donte Johnson pins Konnor McNeal of Sauk Prairie in 2:37 in the first round, then defeats Daniel Cole of Ashwaubenon by a 5-1 decision in the quarterfinals. Johnson will wrestle Pewaukee’s Blaze Beltran in the semifinals tonight.


Division 2:


Lomira’s Allan Klink, Adam Kinyon and Campbellsport’s Matt Koelbel all win in their first round matches at state.


Division 3: All three wrestlers from Laconia, Zachary Foth, Zach Coffeen and Caleb Hopp win in their first round matches at state.

Ohio State 83, Wisconsin 73

--27 points from Bronson Koenig wasn’t enough as the Badgers lost to the Buckeyes in Columbus on Thursday night. Ohio State shot 50 percent from the floor for the game and 62% from three point range in the win. D’Mitrik Trice added 14 for the Badgers who fall out of a first place tie with Purdue in the Big Ten. Wisconsin plays at Michigan State on Sunday afternoon.

NBA:


The Milwaukee Bucks have traded center Roy Hibbert to Denver for a protected second round pick. The deal was reached just before the trade deadline Thursday. It's the second time this month Hibbert has been dealt. The Bucks picked up Hibbert from the Charlotte Hornets on February 2nd.

The 30-year-old Hibbert is making $5 million this season and is set to become a free agent over the summer
