St. Mary’s Springs wins the Flyway Conference Mini-Meet at Camelot in Lomira. The Ledgers shoot a 151 as a team. Dawson Sarauer shoots a 35 to earn medalist honors, Doyle Kelly a 38, Ben Hintze & Colin Ahern each a 39, Owen Ahern a 40.

Winnebago Lutheran placed second with a 177, John O’Connor shoots a 41 individually for the Vikings. Mason Herkstroeter a 43.

–Mookie Betts hit a three-run home run in the top of the 9th inning to lift the Red Sox to a win in the series finale against Milwaukee at Miller Park. Jonathan Villar went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI in the loss. The Brewers host the New York Mets for a three game weekend series tonight. Coverage starts at 6:35 on KFIZ.

NFL:

The Packers have signed rookie cornerback Kevin King. King was the first player taken in the second round, number 33 overall, out of the University of Washington in last month’s NFL Draft. Contract terms have not yet been announced. But the deal will likely be for four years.

The Packers also announced the dates for offseason workouts that are coming up this summer. The team will hold their mandatory mini-camp June 13th through the 15th, with the first practice of training camp to be held on July 27th. Players will report to camp on July 26th.
