win over Houston at Minute Maid

.   The Brewers and Astros play again today in Houston.  Coverage begins at 1pm on KFIZ.  The Brewers will play at game at double-A
Biloxi on Saturday before heading to Milwaukee.

Michigan State’s Denzel Valentine has been named the Associated
Press National Men’s Basketball Player of the Year.   Kansas
Bill Self was name the AP’s Coach of the Year.

 

The University of Wisconsin
introduced Jonathan Tsipis as their new women’s basketball coach.  The former George Washington head coach says
that he will focus on keeping the state’s top talent in Wisconsin
Tsipis is the first man lead the Badger women’s basketball team in the
43-year history of the program.

 

Charley Hoffman’s 8-under par
64 gives him a one shot lead over four golfers at the Houston Open on the PGA
Tour.   Madison’s Steve Stricker is tied for 32nd,
five shots off the pace.
