The Wisconsin Badgers and
Kentucky Wildcats are closing in on their national semifinal matchup on
Saturday night in Indianapolis.    You’ll hear all the action on KFIZ.  Our coverage begins at 6:30pm on Saturday
night with the tip set for 7:49pm.

 

Michigan State and Duke will square off in the 1st game
at the Final Four.

 

UW-Green Bay’s Kiefer
Sykes finished 2nd in the Slam Dunk Contest at the Final Four in Indianapolis.  LaQuavius Cotton of Delta State
won the event.  Marquette’s Matt Carlino was in the 3-point
contest but didn’t get out of the first round.

 

VCU’s Shaka Smart has left
the school to take the job at Texas.
He won at least 26 games in each of his six seasons at VCU.

 

The Bucks are in Boston tonight for a
matchup with the Celtics.  Milwaukee has lost 11
straight on the road but still hold the 6th playoff spot in the
Eastern Conference.   You’ll hear it on
KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 6:10pm with the
tip set for 6:30pm.

 

The Brewers lost to the
Padres 6-5 on Thursday.  Ryan Braun
homered for The Crew.  The Brewers and
Cleveland Indians will play this afternoon. 
 

 

Milwaukee finalized their roster by sending utility man Elian
Herrera to the minors, giving Logan Schafer the final roster spot.  The team also traded 1B Hunter Morris to Pittsburgh for a player
to be named later.

 

Scott Piercy’s -9 under par
63 gives him a two shot lead over JB Holmes and Alex Cejka at the Shell Houston
Open on the PGA Tour.
