Khris Davis belted a pair of
three run homers and Adam Lind drove in 3 runs as the Brewers pounded San Diego 10-1 on Thursday afternoon in their series
finale at Miller Park
Matt Garza gave up just 2 hits and 1 run in 7 innings to pick up the
win.   The St. Louis Cardinals come to
town for a three game set beginning tonight. 
Kyle Lohse has been moved to the bullpen and instead Craig Counsell will
send Tyler Cravy to the hill to takes on Lance Lynn tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm on KFIZ.

Packer linebacker Clay
Matthews continues to sit out workouts. 
After Thursday’s practice Mike McCarthy said that holding Matthews out
of workouts with a sore knee is just a precautionary measure early in training
camp.  The Packers get back on the
practice field this morning at 8:20am  Saturday night in the annual Family Night
Scrimmage at Lambeau.  Green

opens up their preseason schedule next Thursday when they

The NFL Hall of Fame Game is

The Wisconsin Badgers open up
their preseason camp on Monday in Madison.  The Badgers were selected as the favorites to
win the Big Ten’s West Division.  UW
opens the season in Dallas, Texas
against Alabama.

Danny Lee’s five-under par 65
gives him a one shot lead at the Bridgestone Invitational on the PGA Tour.  Jim Furyk and Graeme McDowell are one shot
back.   The PGA Championship is next week
in the Sheboygan
area.
