Packers vs. Vikings

The Packers are getting ready for the Vikings on Sunday at the Metrodome.  A win by the Packers and they have the #2 seed and a first round playoff bye.  A win by the Vikings and they make the playoffs.  Charles Woodson will miss the game as his broken collar bone isn’t ready to go.  Receiver Randall Cobb will test his injured ankle today to see if he can play.  WR Jordy Nelson will be back from a hamstring injury.  Sunday’s game kicks off at 3:25pm.  Pregame coverage begins at 1pm on KFIZ.


Badgers Rose Bowl

The Badgers continues to get ready for the Rose Bowl on January 1st in Pasadena against Stanford.  Coverage begins at 2pm with the kickoff at 4pm on KFIZ.  It’s presented by Fondy Junior Football and Fondy Quarterback Club.

Cardinal Boys Win

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team won their 5th straight game with a 55-53 win over Milwaukee Bradley Tech on Thursday afternoon.   Fondy was in charge of the game for the first 3 and a half quarters, leading 37-28 after 3.  About halfway through the 4th Fondy had a 12 point lead but that was slowly chipped away.  A combination of heavy pressure from Tech, tournovers and Tech finally making there free throws cuz the lead to just two possessions.  Martis Shanks hit two late deep threes.  One with 5.5 seconds left to tie the game.  Joe Shorse recieved the inbounds, broke the press and rushed to the basket.  As he got into the paint he went air bourn and found Collin Pickart who was cutting the the basket uncontested.  Pickert put it off the glass and in as time expired.  Shorse lead all scorers with 16.  Tyler Kryzanowski had 10 and Pickart had 8.
