The Badger men’s basketball
team took down Minnesota 78-70 on Thursday
night at the Kohl
Center
.  Ben Brust went 4×4 from beyond the arc and
finished with 20 points.  Frank Kamisky
added 17.  The win was the Badgers 20th
of the season.  They travel to Michigan on Sunday.  The tip is set for Noon.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

 

UW-Green Bay blew
out Youngstown State 71-40 on Thursday night.  Alec Brown 
led the Phoenix
with 24 points.  UWGB is 20-5 overall and
10-2 in the Horizon League.

 

Dustin Johnson’s five-under
par 66 gives him a 1 shot lead over 11 golfers at the PGA Tour’s Northern Trust
Open in California
after the first round. 

 

Fond du Lac High School Senior Stuart Nett signed a national letter of
intent earlier this week to play college tennis at Cardinal Stritch in the
NAIA.  Nett is the Wolves only recruit
coming in for the 2014-2015 season as they enter year 2 of their program.

 

At the Olympics, the United
States Hockey Team beat Slovakia
7-1.  They will play Russia on
Saturday morning.
