The
Wisconsin Badgers won their 5th straight with a 79-68 win over Ohio State
at the Kohl Center on Thursday night.  Nigel Hayes scored 18 of his team high 21 in
the 2nd half.   The Badgers
will host Nebraska
on Wednesday night.

Fond du Lac native Drew Diener’s Rockhurst men’s basketball team will be
in Wisconsin on Saturday when they take on
UW-Parkside in Kenosha.  Diener is in his 1st year as head
coach at the NCAA Division 2 university based in Kansas City
The tip is set for 3pm on Saturday. 

 

A pair of
Milwaukee Bucks will be participating in next weekend’s NBA All-Star Game
festivities in Toronto.  Khris Middleton will be in the three-point
contest and Jabari Parker will be playing in the Rising Stars Challenge.  The Bucks look to snap a four game losing
streak tonight in Utah.  The tip is set for 8pm central.  We’ll join that game in progress after Fondy
basketball on KFIZ.

 

The San Francisco Bay area is gearing up for Super Bowl 50
on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.  You’ll hear
the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos on KFIZ..  Pregame coverage begins at 1pm with the
kickoff set for right around 5:30pm.

hosts Neenah
at the Acuity Fieldhouse.  Coverage
begins at 7pm with the Tim Cruz Agency American Family Insurance Pregame
Show.  The tip is set for 7:30pm.

Badgerland Conference Hockey Tournament continues tonight at the Blue
Line.   St.
Mary’s Springs will play Fox Cities tonight at 5:30pm in Rink B.  Fond du Lac
faces off with Appleton
at 7:30pm in Rink A.  Waupun battles Neenah at 8pm in Rink
B.   All the teams will play again on
Saturday.  The championship match is set
for 7pm in Rink A.
