The Washington Nationals earned a series split with the Brewers on Thursday with an 8-5 win. Wilson Ramos clubbed a three run homer in the bottom of the seventh to provide the game winner. The Brewers rallied back to tie the game at 5 in the top of the 7th when Carlos Gomez belted a two-run homer. Yuni Betancourt also homered in the Brewers loss. The Brewers open up a weekend series with the Mets at Miller Park tonight. Johnny Hellweg gets the start for The Crew. Coverage begins at 6:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
North Selected To Ryder Cup
Wisconsin native and 2 time U.S. Open champion Andy North has been selected by Captain Tom Watson to be the Vice-Captain of the event in Scotland in 2014.

Joey Chestnut downed 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes at Coney Island on the 4th of July to win the Nathon’s National Hot Dog Eating Contest.
