Brewers Win
The Milwaukee Brewers won their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks beating the Diamondbacks 4 to 1 Thursday afternoon to take the series winning 3 out of 4 games. Yovani Gallardo pitched seven strong innings to get the win. He’s 8 and 0 lifetime against Arizona. The Brewers travel to Colorado for a weekend series with the Rockies. Franklin Injury Ends Career
The career of Green Bay Packers running back Jonathan Franklin is over. Head Coach Mike McCarthy says the 2nd year running back suffered a neck injury last November that has cut short Franklin’s career. The injury occurred during a kickoff return against the Minnesota Vikings.
