Steph Curry scored 26 and
Klay Thompson 21 as Golden State picked up a 108-100 overtime win over Cleveland in Game 1 of
the NBA Finals.  The Warriors outscored
the Cavs 10-2 in the extra frame.  LeBron
James scored 44 points on 18 of 44 shooting. 
Kyrie Irving had 22 before leaving in the overtime with an injured
knee.  He will have an MRI.  Game 2 is Sunday night in Oakland.

 

The Brewers open up a three
game weekend series in Minnesota
tonight.  Kyle Lohse takes on Kyle
Gibson.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm with
the 1st pitch set for 7:10pm on KFIZ.

Local and state leaders held
a press conference to unveil a plan for a new arena in downtown Milwaukee on
Thursday.  The plan would cap public
money at half of the $500 million dollar project, plus interest.  The Bucks would be responsible for the other
$250 million dollars plus any cost over runs. The deal must pass the Milwaukee
Common Council and Wisconsin State Legislature to get done.

 

American Pharoah looks to
make history and win the Triple Crown on Saturday at The Belmont Stakes.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins around 4:30pm after Brewers
baseball.

Matsuyama fired 8 under par 64s to take a two shot lead into the 2nd
round of the Memorial on the PGA Tour. 
Steve Stricker is tied for 21st at -3. 

 

Fond du Lac High School’s double’s team Keenan Salah and Matt Riley advanced
to the 2nd round of the WIAA Division 1 Boys Tennis Tournament with
a win on Thursday afternoon.  The boys
will play again today at 10:15am.
