Badgers go from Sweet to Elite

 

The Wisconsin Badgers found themselves down 7 late in the 2nd half but rallied to knock off North Carolina 79-72 in the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet Sixteen round. The Badgers will advance to take on Arizona in an Elite Eight rematch from last season. Tip off on Saturday will be at 5:09pm, and our coverage on KFIZ will start at 4pm with the pregame. Arizona advanced to the Final Four by knocking off Xavier, 68-60.

 

For the Badgers, Sam Dekker was the star netting a career high 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Frank Kaminsky had 19, and the returning Traevon Jackson had 4.

Bucks win

 

In the only game in the NBA on Thursday, the Bucks won 111-107 over the Indiana Pacers. Ersan Illyasova had a career high 34 points. The Bucks are back at .500 at 36-36, and host the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

 

 

Brewers Bats come alive

 

The Brewers sliced the Mariners for 22 hits in a 15-1 victory on Thursday. They take on the Reds tonight at 905pm.
