Khris Davis’ two run single in the bottom of the 9th gave the Brewers a 4-3 walk-off win over Pittsburgh on Thursday afternoon at Miller Park. Rickie Weeks and Martin Maldonado each homered in the win.   The Brewers open up a three game series in Chicago against the Cubs this afternoon.  Kyle Lohse takes on Jeff Samardjza.  Coverage begins at 12:45 with the first pitch set for 1:20pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ

The Packers officially announced the signings of both 5th round picks Jared Abbrederis and Corey Linsley on Thursday night.  The team has also signed 7th round pick Jeff Janis.  Green Bay opens the rookie orientation mini-camp today. 

 

NBA Playoffs

Indiana 93 Washington 80 – Pacers win 4-2

Oklahoma City 104 LA Clippers 98 – Thunder win 4-2

 

Both #1 and #2 seeds have reached the conference finals in the NBA.  Indiana hosts Miami in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday while the Spurs host Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals opener on Monday night.

 

The NBA Board of Governors unanimously approved the sale of the Milwaukee Bucks from Senator Herb Kohl to billionaires Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry on Thursday. 

 

Fond du Lac native Drake Diener has been named MVP of Italy’s top professional basketball league.  Diener led the league in scoring this season. 

 

NHL Playoffs

Their were no games in the NHL Playoffs on Thursday, but tonight Anaheim hosts the LA Kings in game seven of their 2nd round playoff series.
