Brewers Fall

The St. Louis Cardinals scored six runs on seven singles in the 3rd inning to edge the Brewers 6-5 on Thursday night in their series opener.  Wily Peralta gave up 11 total hits in four and a third innings to get hung with the loss.  The Brewers  scored two in the 7th, and single runs in the 8th and 9th to make it close, but Jonathan Lucroy struck out in the 9th to end a rally.  The series continues tonight as Kyle Lohse takes on Shelby Miller.  Coverage begins at 6:35pm on KFIZ.

Ramirez Back

After last night’s game the Brewers sent Josh Prince to the minors and activated 3B Aramis Ramirez.  He’s been out with a knee injury.  He’s expected to start tonight but may not play the entire game since he didn’t have a minor league rehab assignment.
