school football season tonight and the Fond
du Lac
Cardinals have a big one at Fruth Memorial
Field as Hortonville comes to town.  Both
teams have 5-1 records in the VFA-South so 2nd place and most likely
a home game in the first round of the WIAA playoffs is on the line.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm with the Tim Cruz

St. Mary’s Springs can clinch
at least a share of the Flyway Conference title with a win out in Rosendale
tonight against Laconia.   Mark Madigan’s Spartans need to win one of
their final two games to clinch a playoff spot.

The Bucks lost to the
Pistons 90-84 on Thursday night in Detroit
in NBA preseason action.  Khris Middleton
had 13 while Jabari Parker and Brandon Knight had 11 each.  The Bucks host Chicago on Saturday night in the annual MACC
Fund game at The Bradley Center.

 

The Packers put the
finishing touches on their game plan for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff at
Noon.

 

Wisconsin hosts Illinois on
Saturday at Camp Randall. Coverage begins at 9am with the

The Major League Baseball
Playoffs continue tonight as Baltimore hosts Kansas City in Game One
of the American League Championship Series. 
The NLCS gets going on Saturday as St. Louis
hosts San Francisco.

 

Fond du Lac’s Nicole Feltz has earned a trip to the Girls State Tennis
Tournament with a 2nd place finish at the Appleton Sectional.  Feltz won two matches before falling to West
Bend East’s Lexi Keberle who is the defending state champ.    The double team of Annie Hierl and Maddie Bahr
dropped thief first match at the Sectional
