Ike Floyd ran for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns as St. Mary’s
Springs stopped WLA 49-7 on Thursday night at Fruth Field.  The Ledgers have now won 36 straight games as
they finish the season at 9-0.  WLA’s
regular season ends at 5-4.  Both teams
have qualified for the post-season.

 

The Fond du Lac Cardinal football team hosts Wisconsin Rapids tonight
in the regular season finale at Fruth Field. 
It’s Homecoming for Fondy tonight.  
The Cardinals need a win to qualify for the WIAA playoffs.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm on News-Talk 1450
KFIZ with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show. 
Wade Bates and Jim Bond have the call tonight with the kickoff set for

The Fond du Lac
boys were 10th at the FVA Cross Country Meet on Thursday.  Evan Loehr was the top Cardinal finisher at
17th.  The Fondy girls were 7th.  Megan Buechel was 5th and Annie
Moore was 6th.   The St. Mary’s Springs girls won the Flyway meet at Mayville,
while KML won the boys race.

 

Fond du Lac’s Nicole Feltz
beat Kassie Alexander of Waukesha South in the first round of the State Girls
Tennis Meet in Madison.  Feltz then lost to Kalsey Skibba of Middleton
in round 2.

The Badgers look for their first road win of the season on
Saturday night as they travel to Illinois.  You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 5pm with the kickoff set

The Packers hope to find out more on receiver James Jones
today and his status for Sunday’s game.  Jones, Brad Jones, and Mike Neal all sat out
practice again on Thursday.  The Packers
injuries have stretched so far that they might night be able to have 46 healthy
players to fill out their game day roster on Sunday.  The Packers and Browns kickoff at 3:25pm on
KFIZ and streaming at kfiz.com.
