The Super Bowl Champion
Seattle Seahawks dominated the Green Bay Packers 36-16 in the NFL opener Sunday
night.  Marshawn Lynch ran for 110 yards
and 2 TDs.  Russell Wilson also tossed a
pair of touchdown passes against the Green Bay
defense as Seattle ran away from Green Bay after trailing
7-3 early.  Aaron Rodgers was 23 of 33
for 189 yards and a TD and interception.
The injury bug bit the Pack again, right tackle Brian Bulaga left the
game with a knee injury, TE Richard Rodgers had a stinger, and RB Eddie Lacy
left late in the game to be checked for a concussion.  He had just 34 yards on 12 carries. Green Bay will next host
the New York Jets on September 15th at Lambeau.

Things weren’t much better
for the Brewers as the St. Louis Cardinals handed them their 9th
straight loss 3-2 at Miller
Park
on Thursday
night.  St. Louis scored a pair in the 1st
and another run in the 3rd off of Wily Peralta and that was
enough.  Rickie Weeks added a solo shot
in the 6th to keep it close.
The series continues tonight with the Brewers 4 games behind the
Cardinals in the N.L. Central. John Lackey takes on Mike Fiers.
