NFL:


Green Bay 23, Chicago 16

--Brett Hundley threw for 212 yards and a touchdown as the Packers snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over the Bears at Solider Field on Sunday. Davante Adams caught five passes for 90 yards and the touchdown from Hundley, and a huge 42 yard reception late in the fourth quarter on a 3rd down from the Packers 35 to help Green Bay ice the game, even with a final chance by Chicago. Ty Montgomery ran for 54 yards and a touchdown, before leaving the game with an injury. Rookie Jamaal Williams had 20 carries for 67 yards in Montgomery’s place. Nick Perry had three sacks to lead the defense against Chicago. Green Bay improves to 5-4 with the win and hosts Baltimore on Sunday. Kickoff is at Noon.


Minnesota 38, Washington 30

--Case Keenum threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns as the Vikings won their fifth straight game. Minnesota hosts the LA Rams next Sunday.


Detroit 38, Cleveland 24

--The Lions fell behind early, but ended up putting the Browns away at home thanks to three touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford. Detroit is 5-4 and plays at Chicago next Sunday.


College Football:


The 10-0 Wisconsin football team fell a spot to number four in the USA Today Coaches Poll, and climbed a spot to number five in the Associated Press Top 25 after their 38-14 domination of Iowa at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday. In the AP Poll, Alabama remains at number one, with Miami jumping five spots to number two. Oklahoma is at three and Clemson is at four. The rest of the top 10 after the Badgers features Auburn at six, Georgia at seven, Ohio State eighth, Notre Dame ninth and Oklahoma State 10th. Wisconsin hosts  #19 Michigan on Saturday, kickoff is at 11am.


The UW-Oshkosh football team was the only team from the WIAC to make the 32-team Division Three football playoff field when it was announced on Sunday. The Titans will host Lakeland University of Sheboygan, who won the NACC with an 8-2 record, at Noon on Saturday in the first round.


Men’s College Basketball:


Wisconsin 89, Yale 61

--Kahlil Iverson scored 17 points on 8 of 9 shooting as the Badgers rolled past Yale to improve to 2-0 on the year with the win at the Kohl Center Sunday afternoon. D’Mitrik Trice added 14 points, while Ethan Happ posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Wisconsin hosts Xavier on Thursday as part of the Gavitt Tip Off Games. Tipoff is 7:30 pm.
