Men’s College Basketball (Elite 8):


East Region:


#7 South Carolina 77, #4 Florida 70

--South Carolina advances to the Final Four for the first time in school history.


South Region:


#1 North Carolina 75, #2 Kentucky 73

--Luke Maye’s jumper with three-tenths of a second left to play in the game proved to be the difference as the Tar Heels return to the Final Four.


The Final Four for next Saturday is set, with games being played in Glendale, Arizona.  


#1 Gonzaga vs. #7 South Carolina

--Tipoff time scheduled for 5:09 pm central time on Saturday


#1 North Carolina vs. #3 Oregon

--Tipoff time scheduled for 7:49 pm central time on Saturday.


Winners will meet on Monday, April 3rd for the National Championship game.


NBA: Chicago 109, Milwaukee 94

--Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 22 points as the Bucks lost to the Bulls at home on Sunday afternoon. The Bucks play at Charlotte on Tuesday.


MLB: Oakland 11, Milwaukee 1

--Hernan Perez went 2 for 4 in the loss to Oakland. The Brewers are off today and will take on Cleveland on Tuesday.


Authorities say Green Bay Packers cornerback Makinton Dorleant and Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre Hall were arrested outside a bar in Cedar Falls, Iowa over the weekend. Hall was cited for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and interference with official acts. Dorleant was cited for interference. Police say officers responded to a report of a fight outside the bar on Saturday night. According to reports, Hall did not respond to police instructions and spit in the officers' faces. Police say an officer used a Taser on Hall's legs in order to get him into the squad car. Dorleant was detained after authorities say he approached officers "in a threatening manner" following Hall's arrest. A Packers spokesman says the team is aware of the situation and "gathering more information."  Both played college football in Cedar Falls at the University of Northern Iowa.


NASCAR: After three straight second-place finishes, Kyle Larson endured four straight restarts to win at Fontana and add to his Monster Energy points lead. He also won the Xfinity Series race on Saturday, giving him a clean sweep of the weekend racing. Brad Keselowski was second, and Clint Bowyer came in third for his best finish since June 2015


Golf: Dustin Johnson has become the first player to sweep the World Golf Championships by winning the Match Play in Austin. Johnson escaped a furious charge by Jon Rahm when the 22-year-old Spaniard failed to birdie the 18th hole. Johnson's 1-up victory completed a week in which he never trailed in any of his seven matches
