Men’s College Basketball:

Big Ten:

Wisconsin 66, Minnesota 49

--The Badgers used a 10-2 run early in the second half to gain control and defeat Minnesota on senior day at the Kohl Center in Madison. Bronson Koenig scored 17 points and was five of eight on three point shooting, Zak Showalter and Nigel Hayes both scored 12 as the Badgers snapped a three game losing skid.

With the win, the Badgers clinch the #2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. They will play either Iowa or Indiana on Friday.

Iowa 90, Penn State 79

Purdue 69, Northwestern 65

Michigan 93, Nebraska 57

Horizon League Conference Tournament:

Illinois-Chicago 79, Green Bay 70.

--Upsets continue in the Horizon League Tournament as the 6th-seeded Flames knocked off the #3 seed Phoenix. All but one of the higher-seeded teams in the tournament were upset this weekend. Tonight, 10th seeded UW-Milwaukee will play UIC, while 9-seed Youngstown State will play 4th-seed Northern Kentucky.

Women’s Basketball:

Horizon League Tournament:

Milwaukee 82, Oakland 60

--The Panthers take on Green Bay today at Noon in the semifinals.

MLB: Milwaukee 9, Colorado 4

--Hernan Perez and Manny Pina each went 2 for 3 in the win for the Brewers who improved their spring training record to 4-5. The Brewers play at Cleveland this afternoon.

The Wisconsin women’s hockey team has earned the No. 1 seed in the 2017 NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship, and will make its 11th national tournament appearance this Saturday. The Badgers will welcome Robert Morris to LaBahn Arena for an NCAA quarterfinal game.  The Badgers, WCHA regular season and tournament champions, and the Colonials, College Hockey America’s regular and postseason champions, are set to meet at 2 p.m. at LaBahn Arena

Brad Keselowski was able to win yesterday's NASCAR race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, beating Kyle Larson by just over a half-second. Pole-sitter Kevin Harvick won the first two stages under NASCAR's new format and led 293 of the first 325 laps. But he was penalized one lap for going too fast on pit row during his final stop

Top-ranked Dustin Johnson played mistake-free over the final five holes to close out a victory at the PGA's Mexico Championship. He saw a four-shot advantage become a one-shot deficit before he birdied 15 and closed with three solid pars for a 3-under 68. Johnson was 14 under for the tournament, one stroke ahead of Tommy Fleetwood
