NCAA Division 3 Regional (At La Crosse)

UW-Oshkosh 8, UW-La Crosse 3

--The Titans are Regional Champions and advance to the NCAA Super Regionals against Trine University of Indiana in a best of three series which will be held this weekend. It’s the Titans’ first regional championship since 1988, when they won the Whitewater Regional. That year, Oshkosh went on to place 6th at the NCAA Championship. The D3 Super Regional format began in 2014.

Major League Baseball:

National League:

Milwaukee 11, NY Mets 9

--Manny Pina’s three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth capped the Brewers rally on Mother’s Day at Miller Park to sweep the Mets in a three game weekend series. Milwaukee trailed 7-1 going into the 6th inning, but scored two in the sixth, three in the seventh and five runs in the eighth capped by Pina’s home run to go ahead for good.

Jonathan Villar and Hernan Perez each went 2 for 4 at the plate in the win. Neftali Feliz earned his first win of the year in relief, Corey Knebel his first save of the year with a scoreless ninth.

The Brewers open a four game series in San Diego tonight. Pregame coverage is 8:35 pm, first pitch at 9:10 on KFIZ.

Western Conference Finals (Game 1):

--Steph Curry scored 40 points, Kevin Durant added 34 as the Warriors rallied to take game one of the Western Conference Finals in Oakland. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 to lead San Antonio in the loss. Game two is Tuesday.


Western Conference Finals (Game 2):

Anaheim 5, Nashville 3

--Series tied at 1 game apiece. Game three is Tuesday in Nashville

Golf: South Korea's Si Woo Kim has become the youngest winner of The Players Championship. The 21-year-old Kim was nearly flawless in his final round at TPC Sawgrass, closing with a 3-under 69 with no bogeys for a three-shot victory over Ian Poulter and Louis Oosthuizen. Kim gets $1.89 million for his second PGA Tour victory, and a three-year exemption to the Masters.
