The Brewers completed the
three game sweep of the Boston Red Sox 4-0 on Sunday at Fenway Park.  Yovani Gallardo threw 6 and two-thirds
scoreless innings to pick up the win. 
Gallardo struck out three and gave up just seven hits.  Zach Duke and Tyler Thornburg finished up the
shutout.  The Brewers game scheduled for
today at Philadelphia
has already been postponed to Tuesday afternoon at 3pm because of poor weather
forecasted for the Phillies home opener.

UConn and Kentucky will play for the NCAA men’s
basketball title tonight.  For Badger
fans it will be tough to watch after Kentucky
squeaked by Bucky 74-73 in the semifinals on Saturday night.   You’ll hear the game tonight on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm. The tip is set for
7:30pm.

 

The women’s title game is
set for Tuesday night as unbeaten UConn takes on unbeaten Notre Dame.

 

NASCAR’s Duck Commander 500
in Texas was
postponed because of bad weather to today. 

 

Matt Jones chipped in from
42 yards out on the first playoff hole to win the Houston Open on the PGA Tour
over Matt Kuchar.  It was the first PGA
Tour win for Jones and also earned him a trip to The Masters this week.

 

The Fond
du Lac
Bears won the Great Lakes Hockey League Tournament
Championship with a 7-1 win over West Bend
on Sunday at the Blue Line.
