Lucroy homered, doubled and drove in 5 as the Brewers completed a three game
sweep of the Dodgers with a 7-2 win on Sunday afternoon. Carlos Gomez also hit
his 20th homer of the season in the victory.  Wily Peralta won his National League leading
15th game of the season.  The
Brewers take today off owning a 3 game lead over St. Louis in the N.L. Central.  The Blue Jays come to town for a quick two
game set at Miller
Park
starting on Tuesday
night.

The Packers first team offense
was impressive in two drives in a 21-7 win over St. Louis on Saturday.  Aaron Rodgers led the Packers two drives that
ended in a touchdown and a field goal.  Green Bay hits the
practice field today at Noon as they get ready for the Raiders in their Lambeau
debut on Friday night.

 

The Badgers are ranked #14
in the first Associated Press College Football Poll which was released this
weekend.  Florida
State is #1, followed by Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Ohio
State
Wisconsin
opens the season on August 30th in Houston against #13 LSU.

NASCAR

 

Camilo  Villegas won Wyndham Championship on the PGA
Tour at -17.  That was one shot better
than Bill Haas.

on Sunday.  Kevin Harvick was 2nd,
Joey Logano 3rd, and Paul Menard 4th.  Matt Kenseth was 38th.

 

The high school football
season kicks off on Friday night.  Fond du Lac will open up
with a non-conference game at Appleton North.
