The Brewers avoided the
sweep with a 4-3 win over Pittsburgh at Miller Park
on Sunday.  The Crew scored a pair of
runs in the first and 2nd innings which was enough for Mike Fiers
who won for the 4th straight time. FIers went 7 innings, giving up
just 2 runs and 2 hits to go along with 7 Ks.
Francisco Rodriguez gave up a solo homer to Andrew McCutchen in the 9th
but managed his 39th save.
The Brewers open up a three city 9 game road trip tonight in San Diego. Kyle Lohse
gets the start for Milwaukee.  Coverage begins at 8:35pm on News-Talk 1450
