 The Packers finally
won a game without Aaron Rodgers with a 22-21 win over Atlanta at Lambeau on Sunday.  Matt Flynn’s two yard TD pass early in the 4th
quarter game Green Bay
the lead and then Jarrett Bush had a key pass breakup and an interception to close
out the victory. Flynn threw for 258 yards and 1 TD.  He also had a fluke interception returned for
a TD. Eddie Lacy had 65 tough yards and a TD on 20 carries while Jordy Nelson
caught four passes for 85 yards.  The win
improves Green Bay
to 6-6-1. That’s a half game behind NFC North leader Detroit

 

The Lions lost in a blizzard at Philly 34-20.  The Bengals beat the Colts 42-10 but Indy
clinches their division….The Patriots rallied for a 27-26 win over the Browns
with two TDs in the final minute…It was the Jets over the Raiders 37-27…Miami
picked up a 34-28 win at Pittsburgh…Tampa Bay routes Buffalo 27-6…KC blows by
Washington 45-10…The Ravens get a late TD to beat the Vikings 29-26…Denver beat
Tennessee 51-28, the Broncos Matt Prater set an NFL record with a 64 yard field
goal…Arizona beats the Rams 34-20..San Diego thumps the Giants 37-14…San
Francisco gets a late field goal to beat Seattle 19-17 and on Sunday Night
Football the Saints march by Carolina 31-13.

 

Talk Packer football tonight as we go In The Huddle with
Davon House and David Bakhtiari from 6pm to 7pm on KFIZ.  Monday Night Football will follow that at 7pm
as the Cowboys play the Bears. 

 

The Badger football team will face South
Carolina
on January 1st in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando.  The Badgers are 9-3 while Steve Spurier’s
Gamecocks are 10-2.  The game kicks off
at Noon and you’ll hear it on KFIZ.   The
Badgers finished up #19 in the BCS, AP and Coaches Poll.

 

As expected it will be Florida
State and Auburn
in Pasadena in
the final BCS Title Game before next year’s four team playoff.  The Orange Bowl has Ohio State
and Clemson.  The Rose features Michigan State and Stanford.  Oklahoma and
Alabama will play in the Sugar Bowl while
Central Florida and Oklahoma
State
play in the Fiesta
Bowl.
