The West beat the East
196-173 at the NBA All-Star Game in Toronto
on Sunday night.  Pacers forward Paul
George scored 41 points for the East. 
The Oklahoma City’s
Russell Westbrook scored 31 to pace the West and was named the game’s MVP for
the 2^nd straight year.

 

The state rivals in the
Horizon League will square off tonight as UW-Green
Bay hosts Milwaukee at The Resch Center.  The Panthers won 95-94 in Milwaukee on January 29^th.  The tip is set for 7pm.

 

After the big win over Maryland on Saturday night, Greg Gard’s Wisconsin Badgers
will travel to East Lansing for a matchup with Michigan State on Thursday night.  Talk Badger hoops tonight at 7pm during The
Greg Gard Show on KFIZ.

 

20-year-old Chase Elliot
became the youngest driver ever to win the pole for next Sunday’s Daytona
500.  Elliot is the son of NASCAR legend
Bill Elliot.  Wisconsin
native Matt Kenseth will start on the outside of row 1.

 

Vaughn Taylor tasted victory
on the PGA Tour for the 1^st time in 11 years with a one shot win at
the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am.  Taylor finished at -17
which was one shot better than Phil Mickelson, who missed a short putt on 18 to
force a playoff.
