Ravens Win Super Bowl

The Baltimore Ravens won their 2nd Vince Lombardi Trophy with a 34-31 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night in New Orleans.  The Ravens looked like they were going to blow out the Niners, jumping out to a 21-6 lead at the break.  They went up 28-6 after Jacoby Jones returned the 2nd half kickoff 108 yards for a TD.  Then the lights went out and there was a power outage and the game was delayed more than 30 minutes.  The 49ers scored 17 straight points in about 4 minutes to get back into the game.  It took the Ravens defense to get a 4th down stop inside the five to secure the championship.  Baltimore QB Joe Flacco was named the games MVP throwing for 287 yards and 3 TDs.  Niners QB Colin Kaepernick threw for 302 yards with 1 TD and 1 interception.  He also ran for a TD.
