The Seahawks and Broncos both arrived in New York on Sunday as they eye up Super Bowl 48 next Sunday in New Jersey.  You’ll hear the Super Bowl on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 11am with the kickoff set for 5:30pm.


Team Jerry Rice beat Team Deion Sanders 22-21 in the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii on Sunday night.  Carolina running back Mike Tolbert scored in a 2 point conversion with :41 seconds left for the winning points.  Baltimore’s Justin Tucker’s 67-yard field goal attempt as time expired fell short.  The Packers Eddie Lacy had 14 yards on seven carries.


More than 14,000 people showed up in downtown Milwaukee for the Brewers annual “On Deck: event.  Ryan Braun saw a mostly positive reaction from fans during his appearance.  The team also used the event to officially announce the signing of pitcher Matt Garza to a four-year deal.  Reports says the deal is worth $50 million dollars with a vesting option for a 5th year that could net him another $13 million.


The Bucks are home tonight as they host the Los Angeles Clippers at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.  The tip is set for 7pm.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on KFIZ


College Basketball

UW-Green Bay 62 Detroit 52 – Phoenix won 12 straight


Scott Stallings won the PGA Tour’s Farmer’s Open at Torrey Pines on Sunday by one shot over five golfers.


The Fond du Lac boys hockey team downed Middleton 4-2 on Sunday morning at the Green Bay Showdown.  Michael Wilson had 2 goals while Alex Graf and Calen Dyni each added a goal in the win.
