Team Jerry Rice beat Team Deion Sanders 22-21 in the NFL Pro
Bowl in Hawaii
on Sunday night.  Carolina running back Mike Tolbert scored in
a 2 point conversion with :41 seconds left for the winning points.  Baltimore’s
Justin Tucker’s 67-yard field goal attempt as time expired fell short.  The Packers Eddie Lacy had 14 yards on seven
carries.

 

More than 14,000 people showed up in downtown Milwaukee for the Brewers
annual “On Deck: event.  Ryan Braun saw a
mostly positive reaction from fans during his appearance.  The team also used the event to officially
announce the signing of pitcher Matt Garza to a four-year deal.  Reports says the deal is worth $50 million
dollars with a vesting option for a 5th year that could net him
another $13 million.

Showdown.  Michael Wilson had 2 goals
while Alex Graf and Calen Dyni each added a goal in the win.
