The Brewers dropped a 5-1
decision to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday at Miller Park.  The Brewers only run came in the 1st
on a Jonathan Lucroy RBI single. Junior Guerra gave up just 3 runs in five and
two-thirds innings of work, but takes the loss. Mike Leake struck out 10 and gave
up one run and six hits in seven innings to earn the win.  The Brewers head into the All-Star Break with
a 38-49 record.   The Crew is off until
Friday when they open up a weekend series in Cincinnati

 

Michael Blazek was sent to
Triple-A Colorado Springs over the weekend.

The Bucks fell to an NBA
D-League All-Star Team 91-86 at the Las Vegas Summer League on Sunday.  Rashad Vaughn led the Bucks with 24
points.  1st round pick Thon
Maker had 17 points and 17 rebounds.  The
Bucks play Memphis
this afternoon.

 

Portugal upset France
1-0 to win the European Championship on Sunday.

 

Andy Murray wins the men’s
title at Wimbledon while Serena Williams won
the women’s title.
