The Brewers won
an old fashioned pitchers duel 1-0 over the Pirates on Sunday at PNC Park.  Yovani Gallardo struck out 8 and gave up just
four hits in seven innings of work to notch the win.  Rob Wooten got the first two out in the 8th
before Francisco Rodriguez tallied the four out save.  Jeff Locke was the hard luck loser, giving up
just 1 run and three hits in seven innings.
The Brewers only run came in the 7th when Jonathan Lucroy
scored on an Aramis Ramirez ground out. The Brewers take today off and open up a three game set with the Mets on Tuesday night.
