The Wisconsin Badgers earned
a #7 seed and will play #10 seed Pittsburgh on
Friday night in St. Louis
in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament.  The tip is set for 5:50pm in the East
Region.  You’ll hear hit on News-Talk
1450 KFIZ and be broadcast on TNT.   Break down the NCAA Tournament tonight at 7pm
during The Greg Gard Show on KFIZ.

 

UW-Green Bay received
a #14 seed and will face #3 seed Texas A&M in the West Region at 6:20pm on
Friday night in Oklahoma City.   It
will be broadcast on TBS.   UW-Green Bay last made the NCAA Tournament in
1996.

 

Kansas, Oregon, North Carolina, and Virginia are the #1 seeds.  The tournament gets going on Tuesday and
Wednesday night in Dayton, Ohio with the “First Four” games.

 

Marquette’s season is over 
The Golden Eagles did not receive an NIT bid despite at 20-13
record.   UW-Milwaukee’s season also ends
with the same 2013 record.  Both teams
turned down invites to the CBI or CollegeBasketballInsider.com Tournaments.

 

The Bucks have won three
straight after a 109-100 win at Brooklyn on
Sunday night.  Giannis Antetokounmpo had
another triple double with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists.  The Bucks host Toronto on Tuesday night.   You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

The Brewers picked up a 5-4
win over Cleveland
in Cactus League action on Sunday.  Chase
Anderson got roughed up again for the Brewers giving up 4 runs and 5 hits in
three innings of work.  The Brewers are
6-5 this spring and will play the Dodgers today.

 

Kevin Harvick edged Carl
Edwards in the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Phoenix.  Matt Kenseth was 7th.  Paul Menard was 38th.

 

Charl Schwartzel edged Bill
Hass in a playoff to win the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour in Florida
