The Brewers pounded out 18
hits and dismantled the Florida Marlins. 
Chris Carter homered twice, doubled, and drove in three to pace the Crew’s
offense. Ryan Braun also went 3×5 with a pair of RBI. Wily Peralta improved to
2-3 going five and two-thirds innings, giving up 13 hits and 5 runs.  The LA Angeles come to Miller Park
tonight as Jimmy Nelson takes on Jered Weaver.

The Packers ended up adding
seven players to their roster after the NFL Draft.  GM Ted Thompson added some beef on both sides
of the line, selecting a pair of offensive lineman and a pair of defensive
linemen.

 

Just two Badgers were
selected.  The Browns nabbed linebacker
Joe Schobert with the 1st pick of the 4th round.  Fullback Derek Watt was taken in the 6th
round by San Diego.

NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Talladega

They are still trying to
complete the Zurich Classic on the PGA Tour today.  Rains haven’t allowed them to get through the
3rd round yet.

 

The Marian University
baseball team has a double header this afternoon at Wisconsin Lutheran.  Game 1 of the double dip is set for 1pm.
