The Angels beat the Brewers 5-3 on Sunday afternoon at Miller Park.  LA scored 4 times in the 7th to rally for the win.  Rod Wooten took the loss.  Carlos Gomez hit his 19th homer of the season.  Milwaukee opens a series with Pittsburgh this afternoon.  Coverage begins at 12:35pm on KFIZ.

Axford Trade Complete
The Brewers and Cardinals completed their trade for John Axford with St. Louis sending righty Michael Blazek to the Crew. The 24 year old was 0-0 with a 6.97 ERA in 11 games with the Cardinals.  He should be in uniform today at Miller Park.

Packers Practice Squad
The NFL teams cutting down to their 53 man rosters, the practice squads are starting to take shape.  Various reports says the Packers will sign former Wisconsin QB Scott Tolzien to the taxi squad. Also tight end Jake Stoneburner, CB James Nixon, and WR’s Charles Johnson and Myles White.

Former Packers Find Homes
A handful of Packers who were cut over the weekend were picked up via waivers by other teams.  Tight end DJ Williams was taken by Jacksonville, RB Alex Green was claimed by the Jets, LB Terrell Manning was scooped up by the Chargers, OL Jeff Lewis by Cleveland, and LB Dezman Moses was claimed by the Chiefs.
