St. Mary’s Springs wins both ends of two, nine-hole Flyway Conference Mini Meets at Whispering Springs. The Ledgers shoot a 150 as a team in the first half, hosted by Winnebago Lutheran. Doyle Kelly leads Springs with a 35 on the first nine, Colin & Owen Ahern each shoot a 38, Ben Hintze & Dawson Sarauer each shoot a 39.

In the first min-meet, Mayville placed 2nd with a 177, Winnebago Lutheran 3rd with a 181, Omro 4th with a 195, Lomira 5th with a 200, Laconia 6th with a 253.

Springs wins the second nine-hole mini meet hosted by North Fond du Lac with a 170. Colin & Owen Ahern each shot a 42, Doyle Kelly and Ben Hintze each shot a 43 on the second nine.

In the second mini-meet, Mayville placed 2nd with a 182, Winnebago Lutheran 3rd with a 199, Lomira 4th with a 208, Omro 5th with a 222, North Fond du Lac 6th with a 233, Laconia 7th with a 250.

–Hernan Perez went 3 for 4 with a home run as the Brewers took game one of their weekend series with the Mets at Miller Park. Starter Matt Garza earned the win, going six innings and allowing two runs on five hits and striking out four. Game two is tonight, pregame coverage starts at 5:35 on KFIZ.
