WIAA State Track & Field Meet (At UW-La Crosse):

 

Division 1 Results:

 

Fond du Lac’s Andrew Stone took second place in the shot put with a 62 foot-1 inch throw.

 

Fond du Lac’s boys 4X800 meter relay team finishes 18th with a time of 8:13.77

 

Fond du Lac’s Noah Tagliapietra finishes in fourth place in the 3,200 meter run with a time of 9:15.03

 

Division 2:

 

Boys: Waupun’s Kyle Miller finished 13th in the 3,200 meter run with a time of 10:14.78

 

Boys: North Fond du Lac’s Tim Barthmann finished 11th in the Pole Vault (12 feet-6.00 inches)

 

Girls: Winnebago Lutheran’s Sarah Nieheuser finished 15th in the 1,600 meter with a time of 5:41.36

 

Girls: Winnebago Lutheran’s MacKenzie Boehlke finished 6th in the shot put with a throw of 40 feet-6.00 inches. Waupun’s Sydney Flier finished 9th (39 feet-6.00 inches)

 

Girls: North Fond du Lac’s Frannie Sokolik finishes fifth in the long jump (17 feet-10.25 in)

 

Division 3:

 

Boys: Central Wisconsin Christian’s Tim Miller finished 15th in the triple jump

 

State Boys Tennis:

 

Fond du Lac’s doubles team of Felix Cloutier and Kyle Leisses wins their opening match on Friday against Joey Slicker and Matthew Simonsen of Homestead – 7-6(2), 6-3, and loses match two to Caleb Schifano and Noah Guillermo from Marquette University HS 6-2, 6-4.

–Domingo Santana’s home run in the 7th inning was all the offense the Brewers could muster against Dodgers’ starter Clayton Kershaw, who allowed a run on two hits while striking out 14 Brewer batters. Brewers starter Jimmy Nelson pitched a gem as well, throwing eight scoreless innings and striking out 11. Neftali Feliz took the loss for Milwaukee, allowing a home run in the 12th to Cody Bellinger. Game two of the series is this afternoon, coverage begins at 2:35 on KFIZ.
