--Luke Mangieri went 3 for 5 with a double in the win for Fondy. The two teams meet again tonight in Kenosha, first pitch is 6:35 pm.

Northwoods League News:

Connor Johnson and John Mierzwa of the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders were selected to play in the Northwoods League All-Star Game coming up July 18th in Wausau. Johnson is 2-1 with a 1.86 ERA in six games for Fondy this year, while Mierzwa is 2-0 with a 1.52 ERA in five starts this season.

Major League Baseball:


Milwaukee 9, NY Yankees 4

--Jesus Aguilar went 3 for 4 with two home runs - one of them a Grand Slam - and seven RBI as the Brewers took down the Yankees in New York in game one of their weekend series. Josh Hader earned the win in relief, tossing three innings in place of starter Junior Guerra. Hader allowed a run on one hit and struck out seven. Game two is this afternoon, coverage starts at 11:30 am, first pitch at 12:05 pm on KFIZ.

--Rashad Vaughn scored 12 points to lead the Bucks in their summer league opener in Las Vegas. Former Badger Bronson Koenig scored two points on 1-6 shooting in his Bucks debut. Milwaukee plays Brooklyn on Sunday in game two of summer league.
