Bucks Win

The Bucks picked up a rare road win with a 109-105 win at Washington in overtime.  Khris Middleton led the way with 29. The Bucks host Brooklyn tonight at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Coverage begins at 7:10pm.

 

The Badger men’s basketball team hosts Marquette this afternoon at the Kohl Center.  You’ll hear all the action on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  The pregame is set for Noon with the tip set for 1:15pm.

 

The Packers host Atlanta on Sunday at Lambeau.  Aaron Rodgers is out for the game and Matt Flynn will get the start.  You’ll hear all the action on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff set for Noon.

 

The Houston Texans have fired head coach Gary Kubiak as they ride an 11 game losing streak.

Boise State head coach Chris Peterson is finally leaving the blue turf.  He’ll take the head coaching job at Washington.

 

The draw was held for next year’s World Cup.  The United States is pooled with Ghana, Portugal, and Germany.

 

The WIAA Board of Controls voted 6-2 on a 76 team conference realignment plan in eastern Wisconsin on Friday.  The plan includes moving Kettle Moraine Lutheran out of the Flway and into a new 8 team league that includes Campbellsport, Kewaskum, Plymouth, Waupun, Ripon, Winneconne, and BerlinSt. Lawrence Seminary would be a full-time member of the Flway, which would leave the conference with just seven teams for football.  Chilton and New Holstein would also include; Roncalli, Valders, Brillion, Kiel, Sheboygan Falls, and Two Rivers.  Final approval of the changes will come to vote in January.
