The Lakers beat the Bucks 101-93 on Friday night in the first of a four game west coast road trip.  Milwaukee is back at it tonight in Utah.


Both UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee wrap up their regular season Horizon League schedule today.  Green Bay hosts Oakland and 1pm while Milwaukee is at Youngstown State at 6pm.  


The
WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament wraps up today in
Madison.  In Division One, Fond du Lac High School senior Jason Toshner will be
wrestling for a state title tonight. 
Toshner defeated Marshfield’s
Josh Lang 4-0 in the semifinals of the 195 pound Division One Bracket on Friday
night.  Toshner will take on Mason Stokke
in the Finals tonight at 6pm.  Fondy’s
Josh Adams (145) and Donte Johnson (285) were both eliminated on Friday. 

 

In Division 2, Lomira’s Jordan Michael at 170
pounds, and Campbellsport’s Alex Costello at 113 are still alive in the Consolation
Bracket. Chilton-Hilbert also has three wrestlers alive for 3rd place
in the Consolation Bracket in Abe Sell (120), Austin Keuler (145), and Duncan
Calnin (195).

 

In Division 3, Laconia has three wrestlers still alive for 3rd
place in Alec Potter (120), ZachCoffeen (152), and Eli Moses (195).

Regional Semifinals

Division Three

The WLA girls advanced
to the Regional Final with a 45-34 win over North Fond du
Lac
.  Cassidy Williams had
13 for the Vikings.  Brooke Scott had 15
for the Orioles. WLA will travel to Laconia
tonight for the Regional Final tonight at 7pm. 
Laconia
advanced with a 46-29 win over Ripon. Also in Division Three, Waupun stopped
Lomira 58-36. The Warriors will post Poynette tonight at 7pm.

 

In Division Four, St. Mary’s Springs rolled by Weyauwega-Fremont
51-25.  Kelli Schrauth had 21 and Melanie
Schneider 10 for the Ledgers.  St. Mary’s Springs will host Oshkosh Lourdes tonight in
the Regional Final.  You’ll hear it on
KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 6:30pm with the
Tim Cruz Agency American Family Insurance Pregame Show. The tip is set for 7pm
presented by BCI Burke Company. The players on KFIZ are presented by Taco Bell.

 

In Division Five, Fall River ended Central
Wisconsin Christian’s season 55-25.
