Fond du Lac and St. Mary’s Springs will meet in the Badgerland
Conference hockey championship game this afternoon at the Blueline.  Fond du Lac
knocked of #1 seed Appleton
4-1 on Friday night behind a pair of goals by Michael Wilson.  St. Mary’s Springs advanced with a 3-2 win
over Oshkosh.  Brady Sarauer had a pair of goals for the
Ledgers.  You’ll hear the game on
News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. Coverage begins at 3:15pm with the puck dropping at
3:45pm.  Its presented by BCI Burke
Company.

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team travels to
Appleton West tonight in a game that Mother Nature froze-out earlier this
year.  Coverage begins at 7:05pm with the
Backyard Grill Pregame Show.  The tip is
set for 7:30pm.  It streams at kfiz.com.

The Brewers have signed free
agent Francisco Rodriguez to a one year contract.  K-Rod was traded from the Brewers to Baltimore last season for
a prospect. This will be his third official stint with Miwaukee.

The Packers added a few
assistant coaches on Friday.  Former Detroit running backs
coach Sam Gash has been hired to fill that role for the Packers.  The team also hired former Illinois and Florida Coach Ron Zook as an
assistant special teams coach.

The Bucks open up a six game
road trip tonight in Houston.  The long roadie will be interrupted by the
All-Star Break in New Orleans
next weekend.
