ESPN Reporter Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had minor knee surgery after the season ending loss to Arizona.  The report called the procedure “minor” and he would be ready for the season.


The 13th ranked Marian Men’s Hockey team won the 300th game in school history in a 4-1 win over MSOE on Friday night at the Blue Line. The historic win occurred on the same night the university celebrated the program’s 20 years of play.  Marian has had a winning season in 17 of those seasons including this year.  The same two teams play again this afternoon in Milwaukee.   The Marian women lost to St. Scholastica 7-4.


The Marian men’s volleyball team won for the 1st time in the program’s history with a 3-0 win over St. Xavier on Friday night at the Sadoff Gym.

The Pro Bowl is Sunday night
in Hawaii.  Four Packers are in the game; Guard Josh
Sitton, linebackers Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers and fullback John Kuhn.  The Packers coaching staff is there as well
minus Mike McCarthy who missed the trip because of a stomach illness.  The game will be played on Sunday night.
