The Arizona Diamondbacks nipped the Brewers 2-1 on Friday night. Both runs off of Tom Gorzelanny were unearned. The DBacks took single runs in the first and 2nd innings. A Gorzelanny throwing error set up the first and a Yuni Betancourt error led to the 2nd run. The series continues tonight. Coverage begins at 8:35pm with the first pitch at 9:05pm on KFIZ.
Crew Adds Owings
The Milwaukee Brewers have signed veteran Micha Owings to a contract. Owings might be a guy that could pitch and also play outfield. Back in 2003 and 2004 Milwaukee had Brooks Kieschnick who filled a similar role.

Ellis To Mavs
Former Bucks guard Monta Ellis will join the Dallas Mavericks. Reports say the deal is a three year contract worth between $25 and $30 million dollars.
